I am a Chartered Physicist with extensive experience working in the process industries as an engineer and qualified manager and also as a teacher in the adult educational sector. I was also a postgraduate student at Bath University studying for an MSc. in Integrated Environmental Management. I am currently working for a major systems integration company in the Midlands. My professional body memberships include the Institute of Physics, the British Computer Society and the Institute for Learning. I have additional qualifications for associate membership of the Institute of Environmental Management & Assessment and used to be a member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing. With many years of involvement in the process industries - Process Control and Energy Management in particular - I have other interests including EMS (Environmental Management Systems such as ISO 14001 and EMAS, IPPC and renewable energy - diverse but linked areas. My background lies in process improvement and control, energy management, cost analysis, engineering, consultancy, marketing, product & project management and bid preparation, where my writing, pictorial and technical skills complement each other. I have a number of web sites, including two e-commerce sites and enjoy working with people and technology, in particular when the technology brings about an improvement in peoples lives. The creative side of life gives me pleasure, such as photography and writing. I also enjoy a pint (or more if someone else is paying.....) Qualifications and Professional Bodies
